The Coach

Christina Pitts is an Exercise Physiologist and ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Health Coach and Group Fitness Instructor with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Science Degree in Exercise and Wellness. In addition, she also holds an Exercise is Medicine Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and a PWR!Moves Instructor Certification from Parkinson Wellness Recovery. With her passion for helping others, Christina thought that one of the best ways to do so is by using her education to help others prevent chronic disease and improve their overall quality of life. During her time working with a variety of populations ranging in age, race, ethnicity, gender, body shape, body size, activity level and ability, Christina realized that there were commonalities among them. She found that everyone just wanted to be healthy but the traditional methods of doing so improved one aspect of health, while also diminishing another aspect of health just as she had experienced during her wellness journey.

Having realized that the traditional method was not the best method for improving health long term, Christina decided to take a different approach. Instead of promoting extreme dieting and exercise practices that can cause damage and extra stress to her clients, she promotes a consistent exercise regimen and mindful eating habits. Through her journey of trying to reach different health, wellness and fitness goals, Christina recognized that this method not only helped her achieve her goals but gave her the skills that she would need to have a successful lifestyle change. Wanting to share this information with others, she started Phine Fitness. Christina’s reason for creating Phine Fitness was to provide a high quality, well rounded fitness service. This is done by not only providing a personalized exercise program, but by offering health coaching and mindful eating tools as well. With these services, she wants to help her clients reach their goals while developing skills that will build confidence and help to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Overall, she wanted to create a positive exercise experience and promote being healthy no matter one’s age, race, ethnicity, gender, body shape, body size, activity level or ability.
